Glides Samples
Many GLIDES project samples from across the county are posted on this website.
GLIDES Decade Project
This is a sample project that was created for an English class. The project focuses on one author and novel in a specific decade. Notice how the project incorporates technology, but the reading and writing aspects are still important. The technology incorporated in the project is primarily for showcasing and publishing of student analysis of author, novel, and connections to the decade.
GLIDES Poetry Project
This project is similar to the Decade Project but focuses on poetry.
Presentation Tips
It is useful to provide students with an idea of what you expect from their presentation. For example, many students will write volumes on one powerpoint slide or speak to the board when they are presenting. By providing students with samples of great presentations or check off lists of "What to do" you will get quality presentations.
